The Greenwood Lake Middle School is a 4th through 8th Grade Middle School with approximately 260 students.  We are a K-8 District and our graduating 8th grade families have the choice to send their student to high school either at Chester Academy High School or Warwick Valley High School.  We are very proud of our rigorous academic program and robust extracurricular offerings.  Our students benefit from experiencing hands on learning through our Project Lead The Way courses and are enriched by having Spanish as a foreign language in each grade level.  In addition to our menu of special area offerings including art, music, band, library and physical education, we offer a wide variety of electives for our 7th and 8th graders as well as sport offerings in each season through our Modified Athletics program.  Greenwood Lake Middle School offers over 30 clubs appealing to interests for students in each grade. with a focus on enrichment activities in a variety of areas.  Additionally, we provide a late bus for students to take advantage of academic support after school and participation in our clubs and athletics.
